Time Out Stitching

TIME OUT STITCHING –  Thursday afternoon, 1:00pm to 3:00pm in the Club Room.

We are a drop in group of approximately a dozen members that meet
weekly. We started as enthusiasts of  “hardanger and counted cross
stitch”.  Many of our members have a long history in one or both of
these crafts. We have expanded to all forms of counted-thread
embroidery and cut work, including Blackwork, Huck or Swedish weaving,
Assisi and other ethnic embroidery.

When we don’t have a needlework project on the go you can find us
either knitting or crocheting. If it uses a needle or a hook we will
give it a try. We are always looking for new techniques so, if you
would like to learn something new or know of something that you think
may be new to us, drop in for a chat. We are also good at that,
chatting I mean.

We would enjoy having new members that either enjoy these crafts or
would like to learn. You don’t have to come every week, it is true
“drop in”.

The drop in rate at the Halina Centre is $3.00 for members and $5.00
for non-members
